About the hotel

Yorkshire, Moors and Coast Hotel of the Year 2007/8, this is Scarborough’s only 4-star hotel, renowned for comfort, service and sea views.

Acknowledged far and wide, our top class restaurants provide international quality cuisine and service. Our conference facilities are second to none and with 87 bedrooms, suites and interconnecting rooms, all having the facilities and furnishings to be expected in a hotel of the Crown's calibre, we ensure that you will want for nothing.

You will be charmed by the Crown's very special character as many thousands before you have been since 1845. The interior of the Crown still contains many of the original architectural features which is why it is often featured in many film and television productions. We now operate a non-smoking policy throughout the hotel.

Cancellations

Hotel Map

Situated in the South Cliff & Bay area of Scarborough the Crown Spa is ideally located for Town, Beach and Countryside. From York: Follw the a64 which will direct you to the heart of Scarborough and the Railway Station. At the Railway Station turn rigt, go through the traffic lights and over the Valley Bridge. Take a sharp turning left once over the bridge and up 'Belmont Road' and continue to the top of the hill to the cliff top.
The Crown Spa Hotel is located on your right. From Whitby (North): Follow the a171 which will again bring you tot he Railway Station in the Town Centre. Follow the above directions to the Hotel. On foot from the Railway Station: Turn right out of the Railway Station and right at the crossroads. Walk past the traffic lights and over Valley Bridge. At the end of the bridge turn left and walk up the hill - 'Belmont Road'. The Crown Spa Hotel is on teh cliff top on your right. The journey by foot should take no longer than 15 minutes.
