A very vibrant city with a rich history.
A very vibrant city with a rich history. The Old City is such a piece of art. The traffic is a bit pain and to get around to near by areas its recommended to walk rather than hailing a cab. To feel and absorb the real beauty of the city can only be done on the long walks this city deserves. The overall city is extremely safe. The food has a lot of variety but its definitely not among the best in the world.

Basically they need to learn how to treat tourist, stop their stupid scaming which ruins the whole experience of Baku.
Its beautiful but a small city, had been enough with just 4 days. The cultural food is not a big deal so dont visit because of the food! Be careful with the hotels showing you updated pictures that does not match with reality! specially breakfast items.

4 nights in Baku seemed just right.
4 nights in Baku seemed just right. The city has lots of surprises. Once I got there, I understood why the city has been described as the "lovechild of Paris and Dubai." It is full off amazing contrasts. It is an elegant city in parts, and quite futuristic in others. Some of the modern architecture is extrordinary. Prices are low and food is awesome. I'm really glad that I chose to call in on Baku.

First of all the weather was soo lovely on April with temperature of 20 in the morning and 16 in the evening.
Baku is a lively city.. Nizami Street is full of energy from morning till next day morning.. There are many places to visit such as malls, gardens, museums.. From my point of view spending 2 to 3 days in baku are enough..
There are many restaurants such as Indian, Korean, japanies, Italian and many other along with the traditional food of Azerbaijan. Visiting the other cities such as Guba, Qabala, Shiki, Shahdag.. Spending one day in each city is enough.
The transportation in Baku is very easy.. With an application called ( Bolt) you can go every where with very low cost.
The visa card is accepted every where.. It's more safe than caring cash.
I advised the travelers to choose a hotel near Nizami street because it's very close to all the needed spots.

Upon my recent visit to Baku, I was utterly captivated by its beauty, which far exceeded my expectations. The city presents a unique blend of ancient architecture and modern developments that coexist harmoniously along the Caspian Sea's shores. From the medieval walled city of Icheri Sheher with its historical landmarks such as the Maiden Tower and Palace of the Shirvanshahs to the contemporary Flame Towers that adorn the skyline, Baku's aesthetic appeal is undeniable. The meticulously maintained parks and the long promenade offer locals and tourists alike an opportunity to bask in the city's natural charm, which is further enhanced by its vibrant cultural scene. Every turn within this dynamic urban landscape revealed unexpected delights, leaving me with an enduring impression of Baku as not just a bustling metropolis but also a hub of cultural wealth and stunning vistas.
Centrally located, 0.5 km from the old town Baku. Alvin was an exceptionally superb host. Very friendly and gave me some excellent tips on restaurants and food. Nighat was also very friendly and helpful. Arranged for cab service back to the airport. Very sweet person. The room was as good as any 5 star hotel. Bathroom was well equipped and very clean. I had my morning coffee sitting on the patio every morning. If I come back to Baku, this would be my home away from home.
One of the best hotels I have booked. Extremely good breakfast .The rooms are a bit small but in this area most hotels have smaller rooms .I think it is the concept of Old City.In europe rooms are more smaller ,so for me it was perfect. The staff were so helpful and friendly
The location is ideal for the one who visits Baku first time. I fallen in Love to Old Baku . It was like fairy tale
Hope and believe Ill visit beautiful Baku again!
The hotel is located in the Old City of Baku, next to the Maiden Tower, and within walking distance to major attractions inside of it (as well as the metro station); it has a terrace on top with wonderful views of the city (including the flame towers) and of the ocean. The staff is amazing and hospitable - and speak good English; they can also arrange transfers from and to the airport. Great breakfast in the morning.
The Art Club hotel is a wonderful place. Great hotel, wonderful and spacious rooms - we stayed at a suite - right in the middle of the old city. The staff was extremly helpful, especially Abduzahmann, who greeted us as we arrived and when we were leaving.
The breakfast, although we didnt use it, seemed very good.
Really wonderful place to keep you rekaxed while discovering Baku.
Highly recommended!
We visited Baku for the Formula 1. The hotel was great about arranging a taxi for us from the airport and meeting us outside the old city to guide us to the hotel. The front desk was very helpful with any questions we had. The hotel has a restaurant at the top which serves food 24/7 - this was great when we arrived late the first night. Rooms were very big, clean and fairly quiet.
Good hotel, rather new, the best in this price range in Baku (this is the 5th I tried). I already booked this hotel for my next trip. Room OK, all needed amenities and in good functioning order. Breakfast with a variety of dishes that you find in more expensive hotels. 3 min. walk to the metro station and 25 minutes walk to the city center. Excellent staff, English speakers.
The location was amazing, right in the middle of the old city centre but yet not noisy. Every where is within walking distance, to the pedestrian walking street, restaurants, sea wall, museum, cafes, pubs, grocery shop, phone stores for your sim cards.. etc The staff and even the owner were excellent, extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the courtyard was great!!
The hotel is located in the old city off a quiet street. It is the place to be, with many restaurants and cafés in the neighborhood. My room was large and comfortable. The daily cleaning service was exceptional—the staff was attentive and helpful every step of the way. Thank you Ali and Mr. Murad. Our pleasant hotel stay made Baku even more welcoming and memorable.
They were not anal about checkout times and barely kept track of who was and wasn't paying. While this doesn't make up the best practice for a hotel, it does make the tourist's stay easier. The location was pretty good as well, not at the city centre, but close enough to walk to it and had several restaurants, pubs, supermarkets all around.
Located on Intersection of Islam Seferli and Lev Tolstoy, one of the nearest hotel to the the famous Nizami Street and Old City Baku. View is nice. Rooms are spacious and with good facilities. Staff is very cooperative and kind. Recommended if you want to get inspired by trendy places nearby and old culture as well.
Everything was amazing very exceptional hotel compared to other hotels that I have visited in Baku I do highly recommend this hotel to everyone who would like to visit the city center in Baku, very thankful to Arif and Farid who was always asking me about my stay and if I need any help
Stayed with my family for 3 days. Hotel is located very centrally near Nizami street and Fountains Square and only 5 min walk to old city and Boulevard. The best was the friendly staff. The room was quite spacious and had all the ammenities. Beds very comfortable and clean
Excellent location in the heart of the city,, friendly and professional staff,, good breakfast with best service from Mr. "Ramadan"
Balcony is an added bonus.
I really regret not choosing this hotel at my earlier arrival in Baku!
Really exceeded the five stars hotels
The location is perfect for tourists, even for first time travelers to Baku. Old city is walking distance and so are resturants and center of the city. It's not a luxury hotel, neither a very new facility. Overall good.
The complimentary breakfast was very good.
The best thing is the location of the appartment, in the center of the old city of baku , near to juma mosque and its totally walking distance from the iconic Maiden tower
Also, the owner is such a good person, very cooperative in case of any neeed
I recommend it
The location was superb, it was the best location being a tourist.
Go for the Breakfast option nearby specially in the old city to try their local breakfast, it would be worth more than having breakfast at a hotel - use the best out of staying at a good location.
Located in the Old Town. It is a beautiful hotel with access to the new and old parts of Baku. The staff was friendly and helpful in answering our questoins. The price was also really good for a 5 start hotel.
Location is perfect as its within City and can commute anywhere in Baku easily.
Breakfast was not so good as it has less options so better to get traditional breakfast outside hotel as its cheaper.
a wonderful place, you can find everything around, the famouse place, the top list restaurants an so on. the waiters are very kindly and helpful! I think it must be one of the best hotel in baku
